The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design’s gallery program creates and supports exhibitions and related programming reflective of leading contemporary art and design. Featuring forward-looking exhibitions that push boundaries and serve as an educational forum for the Milwaukee community, MIAD students, faculty and staff.
MIAD houses two nationally recognized museum galleries, the Brooks Stevens Gallery of Industrial Design and the Frederick Layton Gallery, along with multiple other exhibition spaces throughout the campus.
The gallery program is supported in part by the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Mary L. Nohl Fund of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation.
