For nearly 25 years, WPCA has prided itself on being a haven for the youth of our community, as well as a place to showcase Milwaukee’s premiere artistic talent.  With two gallery spaces and seven yearly exhibitions, WPCA has formed a firm grounding as one of Milwaukee’s premier art venues. Our East and South galleries allow us to showcase emerging and established artists from around the country. Our exhibitions aim to reinforce dialogue and bring together the diverse cultural and art communities that Milwaukee offers.

In March of 2013, we’ll be exhibiting work from La Ceiba Gráfica, a printmaking workshop in Veracruz, Mexico, founded in 2005 in order to encourage the creation of art and to contribute to helping the public gain access to the arts and art-making regardless of an individual’s economic situation in that region of Mexico.This exhibition will include 40 lithographs produced at La CeibaGráficaand will be curated by the organization’s founding members: Per Anderson, Martin Vinaver, and Rafael Ruiz and will coincide with the Southern Graphics Council Conference- the largest printmakers association in North America- expecting to bring up to 2,000 delegates from all 50 states to Milwaukee.
